Yes, Lunadream version-uped by one! Although the image title at the top hasn’t been changed yet. ^^;
This is because Lunadream is now being hosted by a WordPress multisite engine, alongside my blog and another site. It makes updating much easier. However, because Lunadream was previously affected by some malicious redirecting, I had to use a fresh install, so the custom features are all missing until I put them back. I restored the old theme, but I probably switch to a newer, more convenient theme.
In any case, it’s good to be back~

Haven’t indulged myself with some fic writing for a while. This particular idea has been floating around in my mind for ages. Inspiration kicked me in the head when I read ciceqi’s Mascotverse again which, by the way, is a great read if you’re into the BL FFVII fandom.
Two words that can describe the fic to be written: chocobo and AU. And lots of love.
Oh yeah, I’m back in the world of fic writing for now. If anything. And I’m thinking of making good use of the custom taxonomy system added in WordPress’s backend to change how the categories and tags work. Which will be a big project, but it will be fun. xD

Because I decided to use a new layout again, but I think it is unlikely I’ll go for yet another layout. I’m pretty satisfied with this one so far. Good news is, the backend is a lot more user-friendly now (WordPress 2.7 beta 1ftw!) so it’s easier to update and that means more updates! Yay! And Livejournal crossposting is back and working fine (after some tweaking)! To be honest, this one can be a Lunadream v.7 but I’m too lazy to redo the banner graphic. There are some functions that I haven’t added back yet, like the post user avatar/icon thingy, but I’ll see about getting them back. =)
I’m doing NaNoWriMo now so most likely I won’t be able to write fanfics, even though I have enough ideas to fuel a year’s worth of fanfic writing. *wibbles* But I want to win this time, so yeahhhhhhh! Ganbatte!!

Haven’t twiddled with the site much, except on the backend, and even then, it’s still not much but more to come. On Livejournal side though, there are much changes. I found this gorgeous theme that I like so much that I feel like making a theme for Lunadream v.6 based on it. Because it is just that pretty. And I took out those entries with Mature 18 and Teen 16 and I won’t have any cross-posted in the future because I really don’t feel like getting banned from LJ. But they can be found on Lunadream, under the tags ‘Mature 18′ and ‘Teen 16′, so all is not lost. In any case, I’ll probably start writing and twiddling with the sites more. ^^ Cheers.

The wordpress engine, I mean, which I use to run this site. The new version, 2.3 series, has tags in addition to categories and I knew that would be one hell lot helpful. But there were also some major changes to the work categories work, so some things broke and I have to fix them and the site may be all out of sorts while I do so. But the good news is, I’ve began to realize the convenience of converting code hacks into plugins, so things aren’t all bad.
But first, before that, I changed the layout yet again. This time, I’m trying to customize it nearer to the LJ style that I prefer. It feels less rigid to me for some reason.

If you’re asking me, I believe so.
Cross-posting to LJ (my account@LJ) now works great as long as I don’t touch the plugin’s codes anymore. Or delete any of the journal entries over at that side. I heard it’ll potentially screw things up and I’m not going to even try. I’ve been looking and editing the codes all day to debug and customize it and I’m a bit sick of it.
Thank the developers of WordPress for the new list category functions, because it save me a lot of trouble on the side-bar. Now I don’t have to manually edit it all the time, and neither do I have to code it like hell. How nice. If I can find the plugin I saw that makes the categories do something like what the my LJ account’s sidebar is doing, then that would be perfect.
Now to tackle the way the Fictions Details sub-categories look in the post. I’m also thinking of adding more into the Genre sub-category and making Reference page more dynamic. But that’s all for later, as in hours later, since I’m going to sleep before I have to edit off anymore typos. Yup.

Within this week or two, I won’t only but tweaking with the site navigation and functions, me and Yume-chan will also be filling the site up with the writings from the original (current, as of now) LunaDream site and the ficlog I created. Since this site can handle being both an actual fic site and a ficlog at the same time, why not?
So all the things updated in this period of time do not have accurate dates. Their actual dates of creation and completion can’t really be tracked completely, and it’ll just be too messy. So the dates will start being accurate only after we finish our dumping of existing works.
So yeah, watch for the flood~!

I’ve more or less settled the way I want the site to look, and now is content addition and later, more tweeking with navigation and the theme. Oh yes. I do like the look (as in colors, fonts, all), but I also like that it seems easy to customize. I want to make it more… uniquely my site. Mhmm. About the LJ thingy, right now it’s a bit buggy since I deleted posts in LJ and the plugin can’t quite cope with the fact that I did. But what I’m actually doing is to duplicate the posts here onto my LiveJournal account, since it’s sitting there, completely empty and all. I found a really pretty theme for it, so yeah, it’s possible that I’ll become more active in LJ? Lol.

Decided to start twiddling with the site again after upgrading the WordPress version being used, and ended up using a shiny new layout that’s easier to customize. And it’s blue, which I like a lot, so yeah. More to come, development or content wise.
*Edit* I found yet another layout that doesn’t blind me as much and is even easier to modify. So now it’s a warm comfortable brown.

I’ve been entertaining this idea for some time now, and I’m finally going to act on it. I’m going to using a heavily modified WordPress engine, which is normally used for blogging, for maintaining and updating the site. It’s going to make things more convenient for me and Yume-chan.
For now, as it is the development stage, this will be kept private first until I can manage to implement it seamlessly, without too many changes to the current version. There’s a slight chance that it may end up being LunaDream v.6 instead though, lol. And will probably end up being more than just a fanfic site. My ambition is to combine the static monotonous fanfic site with the easier to update ficlog, and I’ve seen it being done with Livejournal so yeah. That’s the goal I’m working towards. Ganbatte ne.
